Tutor for Upward Bound Projects 08/2015 to Present I love tutoring, the joy I feel helping students reach their potential and succeed beyond their own expectations is immense and powerful. That is the reason I tutor, and that is the reason I am completing degrees to become a high school science teacher. I never stop trying to help a student, even if I don't know the answer, I will strive to figure it out. I love the outdoors and being in nature. I also love to help people. I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, especially ice hockey, rock climbing, hiking, and cycling. I believe it is ever so important to be active to achieve a balance between mind and body. I strive to help students see the joys in learning for their own good, the ability to self-advocate and collect knowledge and information is one that any person can achieve. I have been tutoring privately and for Upward Bound for nearly two years, and I have not received one complaint, and only heard positive feedback from my students and clients.
