I got my AA in liberal arts from SMC in 2007,and my BA with high honors in Mexican American Studies from CSULA in 2009. I took my college elective courses in graduate level literature.I was the keynote speaker at LGBTQ Pride Grad in 2009, and have a published book of poetry. I am fluent in Spanish.
Experience
I have worked with many English language learners, tutoring everything from basic vocabulary to grammar and composition. I was a high school substitute teacher in Los Angeles county in 2011. I enjoy working with people of varying backgrounds,and have traveled to Thailand, Singapore, and Mexico. I studied intensive Spanish in Mexico in 2006.
