What sets me apart: I am a classroom teacher, and have advanced training in teaching all populations and ages of students. In particular, I pride myself on my ability to personally connect with all of my students, as well as create a unique individualized tutoring curriculum for each of them. Currently, I am a Special Education student teacher at a high school in Chico, while still working on credential and Master's programs in Education at CSU, Chico. My love for helping children succeed and feel like they can be successful has taken me on an incredible journey that has made me realize how much I enjoy being a teacher and working with children. I have extensive experience as an English, Math, Social Studies and Special Education tutor, as well as a life coach (including organizational skills). I have several years of experience in the private tutoring business, ranging from middle school through the university level. I am the perfect fit for you or your child because I truly believe in every child. Each child is much more likely to make an effort to reach their potential and become the best they can be if they believe their trusted adults care about their future and success.
