Experience
I have over 18 years of tutoring experience including, children, high school students, college, and university students in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. At Butte College, I tutored in a multi-disciplinary capacity in biology/microbiology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics for over 1200 hours; this was accomplished in a drop-in and group tutoring capacity. I have worked with ESL, DSS, Re-Entry, international, and talented/gifted students. Instructional Experience: •Multidisciplinary tutor for over eighteen years. •Tutored at Butte College over 1200 hours in a drop-in basis with individuals and groups. •Tutored children, high school students, college, and university students in science/mathematics. •Instructional assistant for both historical and pre-historical archaeological sites. •Instructional assistant involving basic language skills and writing composition workshop courses; presented selected topics to students; with 45 hours of instructor supervision. •I have taught an introductory chemistry laboratory for the applied sciences as a graduate teaching associate. •Have experience working with ESL, DSS, and talented/gifted students. •Able to gauge student skill and identify problem areas.
